Happy New Year 2013

It's the 1st of January, New Year's Day and I have made some resolutions, topmost being I intend to restart blogging, "my thought for today" on airwaterlight. I don't really know how this idea will work for me but once again I pledge to post one thought each day, every day for the year 2013(I will only take breaks on those days when I am really unable to access the internet and even then I will write in a notepad to post later). Bye for now. Today's thought being...

What is philoshophy?

To every rule there is an exception; to each exception at least one inclusion! -rad

My father once told me that Philosophy is for those whose stomachs are full and still have to attend three more dinner parties...My take: Philosophy is for the questioning mind; the exploring heart; and the transcendental soul!

Nobody can deny you the uniqueness of YOU!

I got another comment to my post on chirmooli - a housewife blog on simple cooking ideas, tips, and recipes! They are fledglings, these two blogs of mine, airwaterlight and chirmooli, with nothing but loads of excitement to spread their wings(still very much developing!!).

There are billions of blogs online and many more being produced everyday, and still with airwaterlight and chirmooli I have made my individual entry into the vast(seemingly boundless) space of the world wide web! 

Nobody can deny you the uniqueness of YOU! How do you feel about my thought for today? Does it leave you feeling, Inspired? Angry? Irritated? Motivated? Hopeless? Excited? Joyful?..whatever else?

The above art work is a photograph of a painting by Rinea Dourado in 2000. The  untitled painting(in acrylics and ink) was later donated by the artist to a jumble sale for charity. The artist is no longer aware about the whereabouts of  her creation.

START NOW  lest you stay stuck forever in the planning phase

I have always wanted to start a blog but never did because I used to think it was a difficult thing to do. Am not technologically savvy! Thanks to Google, I found blogger and here I am! Heard that you can even make money through your blogs. Great idea! Lot's of people, I know(and don't know), would like to explore the earning potential of blogging. 
You can make money posting your thoughts, sharing your knowledge, skill expertise, photo's, art, recipes, experiences, whatever...The possibilities are immense. Anyway, not all of life is about making money. So also with the purpose of blogging. Blogging isn't entirely about MONEY, it is about expressing yourself  in your own space online. 
As I mentioned in the start, I have always wanted to start a blog but never did because I used to think it was a difficult thing to do. Besides, I didn't quite know what I would do with it?What would I write about? I just wanted to do it! That's all I knew and taking a cue from, "Start Now lest you stay stuck forever in the planning phase". I plunged in. Wish me luck! And,
